It is my goal to help others to lead a Balanced Life. To Live the best life that they can! Body. Mind. Soul.

I will be posting healthy ways to take care of your body. There are so many things that effect our body negatively that we need to conscientiously think about how to effect it positively.  This means what we put in as well as what we put on our skin.

You can start by thinking about the foods you eat. Do you eat more fresh, 1 ingredient foods or are there more quick, easy, processed foods? I will post some favorite recipes to give you a good start.

Next, think about what you drink. Does your favorite drink have commercials on TV? This is a clear sign that the cheapest ingredients that offer the highest profit are what you are consuming! That is right, those who are trying to make a profit are not concerned about your health! You can start by drinking half of your body weight in water. Good fresh, clean water- preferably not city water. Consider purchasing a simple Brita Pitcher if you do not have any kind of home water purifier. I have had a reverse osmosis purifier for many years. It takes out lots of the yuck that is in our city water. I like to get out all the additives like fluoride and chlorine that the city adds.

Now, consider what products you use on your skin and body. Soaps, shampoos, lotions and sunscreens all are heavily laden with chemicals AND are easily replaced with chemical free versions.

Throughout my blog posts, articles and graphics that I share, you will be able to find some easy ways to start taking care of your body.

To promote a balanced mind, I will offer some tips on organizing. It never ceases to amaze me when I have helped someone get certain areas of their home organized and i get comments like “life changing”, “I feel as if I have released a heavy weight from my shoulders” or even “I no longer need my anxiety meds!” This is because when we surround ourselves with chaos, our mind and bodies are effected. lessen the chaos and you calm the mind. Another way to help to get your mind in Balance is to begin to use some essential oils. Many already know that good quality essential oils can take the place of many over the counter drugs (for allergies, headaches, fever, aches and pains, sleeplessness……..and so much more), but they can also help with focusing, grounding, joy and motivation. I need some of each of these every single day!

Soul. This one is a void that has been created in each of us by our heavenly father. I will post some encouragement to seek what our father has in store for us. Our dreams for our best life can not even compare to what God has planned for us. We must seek HIM.

      Thanks! I am hoping to be able to change lives by changing habits and getting folks to realize that they have so many great options to take care of their health.
