I absolutely ADORE pumpkin! I make pumpkin smoothies, homemade Pumpkin latte’s (I don’t trust all the added junk in the syrup at coffee houses), pumpkin soup, pumpkin cheesecake, and now…. pumpkin peanut butter! I had this at a friends house and became obsessed after I almost ate the entire confection!

Pumpkin Peanut (or almond) Butter


1 C    Pumpkin Puree (not pie filling)

1 C    Peanut butter (or almond)

1/2 C Honey or maple sugar  (more/less to taste)

1 Tbsp Vanilla

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

Apple Slices for dipping into the deliciousness! or just a spoon!


blend all ingredients until smooth ( i used a vitamix the first time and a food processor the second)

cover and refrigerate for 30 min

serve with apple slices

Note: if using fresh ground peanut butter, this will not be as sweet as store bought sugared peanut butter mix. This also makes a great base/addition to a smoothie.
